Overview

DateAndTimeConverter.com ("we", "our", "the site") is a date and time format conversion tool. We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and how we handle it.

Data Processing — Your Files Stay Local

All CSV file processing happens entirely in your web browser using client-side JavaScript and Web Workers. Your CSV data is never uploaded to our servers, never transmitted over the internet, and never stored anywhere outside your device. We have no ability to access, read, or retain your file contents.

Account Data

If you sign in with Google to access CSV processing, we receive your email address and basic profile information from Google. We store your email address and a unique user ID in our database (hosted by Supabase) solely to manage your account and subscription. We do not access your Google contacts, files, calendar, or any other Google data.

Payment Data

Subscription payments are processed by Stripe. Your payment card details are entered directly on Stripe's secure checkout page and are never sent to or stored on our servers. We receive only a Stripe customer ID and subscription status to manage your access. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through the Stripe customer portal, accessible from the site.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use the site (page views, scroll depth, general usage patterns). Analytics is configured with IP anonymization enabled. For our US-based audience, analytics consent defaults to granted. If we expand to regions with stricter consent requirements (such as the EU under GDPR), we will implement a consent banner and default to denied until the user opts in. We use analytics data in aggregate to improve the site and do not use it to identify individual users.

Advertising

Free users may see advertisements served by Google AdSense. AdSense may use cookies and similar technologies to serve ads based on your browsing history. You can opt out of personalized advertising through Google's Ad Settings at adssettings.google.com. Subscribers with an active paid plan do not see advertisements.

Cookies and Local Storage

We use browser local storage to maintain your authentication session (via Supabase) and to remember UI preferences like ad dismissal state. Google Analytics and AdSense may set their own cookies as described in their respective privacy policies. No tracking cookies are set by our own code.

We use the following third-party services, each with their own privacy policies:

Stripe — Payment processing
Supabase — Authentication and database
Cloudflare — Hosting and DNS

Data Retention

Account and subscription data is retained for as long as your account exists. If you cancel your subscription, your account data is retained for 90 days to allow for resubscription, after which it may be deleted. You can request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us.

Your Rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. You can manage your subscription and payment details through the Stripe customer portal. For any other data requests, contact us at the email below.
